Status: offline 		The motor is running real hot. I have run 4 tanks through the engine and it still runs hot. the motor is set to a richer mixture. 5 turn on the high like recomended. I had the motor over heat on my maiden flight. any suggestions?

Status: online 		Open up the inlet and exit area on the cowl. The exit should be 2-3 times the area of the inlet. Richen it up some more until you get the cooling figured out.

Status: offline 		Posted a detailed reply in the support forum.

Set the engine 800-1000 rpm off of ground peak rpm for launch. A bit more if necessary at the beginning.

Installation needs cooling air exit area. Image attached of an example (of course you will want to make the cutout look a little better). This one is probably a bit oversized, but it works.

Status: offline 		Just blank off the port cowl cheek opening, so the only air exiting is the air that went over the head fins. Even the "chin" opening could be blanked off. This gets the air in:air out ratio better, and all airflow through the cowl is cooling the motor effectively, as it has all gone over the head.
