Status: offline 		Right now, I carry around a lead 12v motor cycle battery. I know that Sullivan has a case that you can attach that holds 12 sub c batteries, but will that be enough? Is there a way to just hook up a 14.4 volt Lithium Poly battery without blowing myself up?
Any idea, any pictures and how toos?

Status: offline 		I have the Sullivan Dyno-Tron High Tork Starter and I use two six cell sub C 2400mah nicad car packs wired in series. Lots of kick. Turns my DA50 over with no problem.

You ask 'will that be enough?' Enough for what? I use mine for everything between a Fox .25 and the DA50.

Status: offline 		Sub C 2000~3000 mAh batteries works fine. I made my own pack 14.4V of A123 LiFePO4 (3.6V 2300 mAh per cell). High capacity, high discharge rates and they do not catch fire.

They sell a battery box for that starter. It takes LiPos. Fits right under the sucker and works like a stand as well. The starter sits on it stable as can be. Not much heavier either. Mine works great. Plus, not having a cord to get tangled in the prop makes it a bit safer to use. And it's A HECK OF A LOT MORE CONVENIENT to use.

Status: offline 		Can you tell me more about the 2000-3000 sub c's? How many? Batteries america can probably make a pack for me. Will that be enough to start the Saito 1.80?
