One of the screw holes on my mach 427 stripped out. is there a way I could install a bigger screw( self tapper) or am I limited to a new block. I am currently running only 3 screws and it seems to seal fine.

I would run it............. but bid on blocks from ebay, less than $20, or purchase a new Teal head from losipartshouse.com and use current mill for backup...

Never judge performance of RC gear or women based on looks. Of course you can put your Orange head on your Teal mill.

I took these on 04/03/2008 I need to watch them again, and I will, right now but they show me running a Teal Headed Mach, performance seemed adequate if I recall.

im just gonna get a new one for 139 i took it all apart and the crank is all rusted the previous owner never used after run. and the rod bushing at te crank had hella wear. also the front bearing seal was broken and there were orings missing everywhere so it had a bunch of air leaks. I guess thats why it wouldnt idle worth a crap

I would probably get a new block but i would save the old one. I have saved many blocks from being paperweights by just getiing a flat bottom tap and running it down the screw hole to open it up slightly larger. I think i have used 4/40 for 3mm screws and it has worked out fine and didnt place anymore stress on the block by doing so.
