This is my opinion and most likely, you are not going to like it.
Ultimately the pilot is responsible for everything that happens on his/her craft.

Now, many Seados don't have a overheating problem, some do. The added fan shroud/baffle is a cheap convenient fix.
Some fuel (you did not state what you are using) can also add to the overheating problem.
The stock muffler is cheap, the hatori is a quality product. Like all massproduced things, sometimes one is broke on delievery.

Now, why is all this your fault? Let's see:
>>>I have had one problem after another caused by over heating from day one the stock exhaust kept splitting at the centre joint I tried everything in the book to stop it<<<
You knew you had a overheating problem but continued to fly.

>>>the first flight and then I noticed
The weld on the flange had a pin hole in it <<<
Again, you knew you had a problem and continued to use the Hatori. If you'd returned the muffler after the first flight there would have been no problem with warranty. But you flew, with an overheating problem and defective welds, and the muffler toasted.

You are going to wait a long time for a resolution. I'd recommend loosing the Irvine and getting an OS32SXH with a good muffler. Then check around and see what a good heli fuel is. Then install the cooling baffle. Then find another pilot to doublecheck your heli setup and engine tuning. Over the next six month continue to ping the hobbyshop and Hatori and Hirobo to - maybe - get something back.

Good luck.

Fritz

Thanks for your thoughts
When I said since day one Ive had over heating what I really meant was running hot !
Ive have flown planks for years and this is my first heli so how hot is hot ?
there was no sign of overheating at that time and the engine is still fine the stock exhaust showed no discolouring it was only when i fitted the tuned pipe and seen the gold tint I realised that all my problems may of been caused by running hot ,very hot, (over heating ?) I would have thought that ''over heating'' would cause engine failure this has not been the case.
at first the fuel i was using was 15%caster mix 3%synthsetic & 5% nitro that I was using on my planes, Then i Changed to modelteck duraglo 5% nitro, Now I have started to use Prosynth Heli 5% nitro.
once again thanks for any input
Geoff

If it was running REALLY hot, the engine would die and you would blow glow plugs.

Any heli engine can be made to run hot. Even with extra cooling shrouds. Many pilots do not realize the oil in the fuel is a major cooling fluid. If the engine is hot richen it up until it is not. You may get an engine that has no power but it will run cool. There is a fine line between proper running temp and usable power delivery.
