OK I put new fuel line in the other day and my lst2 is running like crap. Very hot on just idle, hard to start and when I get it running it will cut out. I went back to factory settings on the low and high speed needles and nothing. My ? is what size fuel line do I need? The guy at the hobby store told me to use medium size tubing. I am completely frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One more thing when I prime the fuel line up ( putting finger over exhaust) as soon as I take my finger off the exhaust I can see the fuel drop back down.

Thanks for your time Greg.

yes, if the engine is warm the fuel will drop back. if it is running hot at idle try richening the lsn 1/8 of a turn. and go from there

I know they have small medium and large tubing. Just wondered what the lst2 tubing is. I am going to try large tubing Saturday. I am sure that the tubing I have know is to small , that is why I am running lean and hot just at idle. I have to turn the lsn out 51/2 turns just to get it started. Then when I hit the throttle it cuts out.

Thanks , I will keep you posted.

Greg

Ok changed the fuel line and I am still having the same problem. It starts just fine but when I hit the throttle it will cut out. If I let sit at idle it gets hot very fast and revs up very fast also, (high pitch sound) seems like it wants to take off with out hitting the throttle. (throttle trim set at 0) like glitching or something. ( fresh charge and batteries) Once it gets running at idle for awhile, the only way I can start it, is turning the lsn 3.5 to 5 turns out. Very rich you would think. I am completely baffled. PLEASE help with any suggestions.

Thanks for your time Greg

pull the HSN assembly off and then unscrew the needle, look for pieces of junk in there and blow it out....fixed a simular problem last night...

Ok I got it fixed. What I found out is, the o-ring in the bottom of the primer pump fell apart into pieces and sucked up into the fuel line clogging the hsn. I took it about and cleaned everthing very well. Back into business.
