I have had a very hard time lately getting my duratrax nitro evader bx dtx 18. to start and I noticed that I have lost compression and I figured it was the piston and the sleeve but just a second again I realized there was bubbles coming from underneath the heat sink everytime the piston reached the top of the sleeve, like that gasket underneath there is bad, is it possible that if that metal gasket is bad that it will cause bad compression and cause my rc not to start or......to start but everytime I let off the gas completely the car stalls.....the flywheel is easy to spin is why I am saying it may be compression

The gasket is what holds your compression in. If it leaks in any way you will have problems. Get a new gasket and retighten your head bolts.

I actually got it running right today, I changed the glowplug and put in a OS A3 Plug and it started right up and ran...probably better then it ever has for the most part, I think I am still running a little rich because it doesn't have the giddy up that it should..takes a second to get up to speed

No kidding, it's a little slow on take off but it idles good now....so I think the reason for not taking off fast is probably because I am running to rich. I'm going to fiddle with all of that later on today
