I had a LST, xxxn-t, the micro (all of them), and mini stuff!!(T/ slider)
And traxxas I had the REVO, T-Maxx, stampede, rustler, jato, and now the slash!!
And I guess you have a point though Losi is geared more towards racing from my point of view, but I really have no local tracks to run, the closest track is 2 hour drive, if I push it!!
But for bashing I like traxxas, and I guess you can race the traxxas stuff, but for racing I would say losi has the advantage!

http://losi.com/Content/Tours/HighRoller/tour.html Take a look. It look almost like the traxxas stampede.

This thing makes the Pede look like cutting edge technology

If it were between this and the xl5 pede I'd choose the high roller anyday. The stampede is just a hunk of junk in my opinion...

Hey No offense to you, I would go the the pede any day!
To tell you the truth I hate Losi, well maybe not hate but dislike!!!
I never had any luck with it!
The Losi stuff I had seams to break within a week, and the traxxas stuff out lasts losi any day, plus I like traxxas better in general!!

Losi's arent aimed towards beginer modeler's in general and are not ment to be beaten/abused relentlessly. Their hybrids from how I see it. Their awsome contenders in racing and are decently durable for bashing but nothing like traxxas's newb proof stuff that never breaks. Losi/Horizon have a good team going and dont plan to stop producing good and reliable products "everything but the mini-t and possibly the mlst"... Ive owned an 8ight race roller and a few other losi products and I have never had an issue. Their right up their with AE, Mugen, Ofna, Kyosho....

That is true, But like I said I don't have a track that I can go to regularly so I bash at home!!
When I go to college, there is a track not too far away (like 20 min drive) I might pick up a losi to race, but I'm leaning more toward associated!!

There both awsome companies. But I think AE can take alittle bit more abuse.

Maybe you are right it's just that I raced a friends Rc8 and I like the way the thing drives, I cannot say anything bad about losi on this one cause I have never tried their buggy!

Does it really matter? I looks nice, and more then likely fairly durable....

The first thing i noticed. Is the fact if you flip or roll-it over. The shock towers will break.

Losi=

Associated=

But what car are you gonna get?

All of my trucks are very durable. I went to a track last weekend and over the whole weekend (around 30-40 runs I only broke 1 ball stud on the front which I have extras. I think out of all my Losi's I have broken maybe 3-7 parts maybe? Most of them were on my mini baja.

he was talking about the highroller.

Look at somebodies 8ight, feel how much steering slop there is and you'll laugh. But that same car destroys you on the track. I must say I like the way the 8ight drives compared to the rc8. It feels as more of a 1/10 scale than 1/8.

Your not reffering to the b4 and t4 are you... If so it is the complete other way around. The t4 and b4 are known to be brittle and are pure racers. Losi's xxx "cr" series tend to be a bit more durable and are more forgiving when racing making them easier to drive.
