Status: offline 		does anyone know if a futaba transmitter will work with a acoms receiver plus no this is gunna sound silly but do the crystals in handsets and receivers go faulty or break ?

Status: online 		I really can't answer question about the TX/RX, but I can tell you that yes, crystals do sometimes go bad. I used to be big into CB radios, more specificaly making them do what the FCC didn't want them to. I have had people come to me needing crystals replaced because they went bad. I'm not sure if they fried or broke because of a harsh shock. I never took the time to tear one open and see whas inside.

Status: offline 		it should work as long as the RX is on the same channel and the same shift... futaba is negative shift...
