that price seems a little steep. the car does look sweet, and if the system worked on a 1/10, i don't see why the 1/8 version would have problems. IMO, i would prefer to do my own conversion with a popular proven product such as the Mamba, and Neu or a Feigao. nothing against Losi, i think it's great. just saying, i would love to do my own conversion.

I wouldnt call castle proven in the 1/8th scale market yet. Thats why I think losi has a chance. Because of all the mmms dieing I am looking else where. I had 2 160 mgm esc but one sunk to the bottom of the lake(dropped rc truck off a bulk head) and the other I had issues from day one(it was brain dead) So I sent it back to get sevice and It got lost in costums So that one is lost too(My mgm esc have lasted the longest. I bought a 120a mgm and had it for 2 1/2 years and then sold it, it still runs and he has had it for 2 years. The first 160a esc (the one that I sunk) lasted 2 years) Have a 80 amp mgm that still running good after 2 years . Had a quark but it died rather quickly but they dont do sevice out of korea( AND I DONT SPEEK KOREAN ). I also havent had a noval system last longer that a few months without throwing a magnet or a esc thermaling every minute or so.

I would like to have a esc that is serviced in the usa and would be as reliable as my mgms were. Castle hasnt been able to provide that yet with the mmm. So if losi's esc will do better and not have the high failure rate of even the V2 mmm I wil get one or my e-revo.

I do like castle thats why I looked at getting the the mmm(I have 2 castle ubecs and put a 120 hydro in the lst conversion and have a phoenix in my plane) Just wish that the mmm would hold up better.

Sorry for the rant
