TinMan: It's called PRU BLUE or PR BLUE. YOu can get the color from Model Master enamels but it's not fuel proof. I mixed and matched my own with Rustoleum paint (royal blue, black & white)
Check my Mk XIX at http://www.jg.rcplanet.com/

Tinman:
For the Mk-9's the belly colour is "Duck Egg Blue". The Mk-12's
and later is called "Medium Sea Grey" which is much darker.

The site for all WW II combat colours is
www.scaleaero.com/docpath.htm
Look on left scroll column down to colour #4 and that will let you go to British Day Fighter selection showing colour chips for top
and undercarriage.

Sorry guys: Didn't know you were after photo recon. blue. But
if you've got a good colour printer, maybe the chip on that site
might help to match.

In this case the original spinner got lost in flight. Later I found that one MkXIX had a black spinner (PM660) with code OI so the painted the replacement black.
Which kit are you building??

TinMan: I believe the Dynaflight is a Mk V or IX. You can model the MkI VI or VII or XI that were used for Photo recon. The XIX (and the XIV) is basically a different airplane: it has a longer cowl, bigger spinner and larger fin and rudder. GO to http://www.mrmodels.fsnet.co.uk/ and look in Spitfires to find correct configurations on the Mks. Also he offers a correct 1/6 scale Spit Kit.
