Every time there is a thread on here about IMAC flyers everyone goes to town on us. Now it's the Warbird guys turn.

You can't fly a round loop, a straight line, a lomcovak, a proper snap roll, or a down humpty bump (any idea what that is??), yet you want to come on and slam really GOOD aerobatic flyers for doing what they do best. I DARE any of you to come to an IMAC meet and try to compete head-head with real aerobatic pilots. not only will you lose, badly, you might actualy enjoy it. . Gee, what a shame that would be.

Remember this. . ANYONE can fly a straight and level low pass with a Warbird. they are so heavy they are nothing more than winged projectiles, so going in a straight line is what they do best. Try some real aerobatics sometime, in front of judges and your peers. You will quickly find out how un-polished your flying really is.

As JonnyRebel Has said in the past, I beleve that we should stop this no good hovering stuff. IMO Hovering just ruins the hobby. I do not enjoy attending Fly-ins anymore because of this 3d junk. That stuff is driving me up a wall! I believe that we should ban all imac type airplanes. I am going to write an email to the ama about how i feel about 3d/hovering. All my fellow friends please stand up with me againist imac flying and hovering. Thank you, and have a nice day

The problem with you guys and your 3D is to much power,I Think the AMA needs to address this the way they are getting after the Jet guys, your plane ways 20lbs,you cant have over 20lbs of thrust comeing out of your prop. Then it would be fun to watch. Then we can see how good the hover.

I'm sorry jon, but I just waded through a ton of Anti-IMAC and anti-Aerobatic posts from a certain group of 'warbird" flyers who have nothing better to do than pat eachother on the back as they slam the SA community. I was not allowed to reply to that thread, therefore, this is my reply.

if you want "productive" and "positive' postings, then perhaps an immediate curtailment of all anti-anything postings from this select group of Warbird enthusiasts is in order.

since Johnny Rebel was such a vocal and outspoken "slammer" of SA flyers and their aircraft, perhaps he should issue an apology to them as a group. His opinions are very out of place, and were totally unproductive and lacking in positive content.

This thread needs to run its course, so that the "other side" can have their say.

I attended an ama event last year and had an incident myself. one "hotshot" pilot was tourqe rolling at the deck while I was flying. I was so distracted by him grabbing his rudder, I almost quit watching my plane while I was watching him. I wish they would have let me land first......so I could watch

toodles

Well Chris is a prime example of the type of guy I referred to in the other thread. Holier than thou. I don't buy it Chris.

Well, Taildragger, there is no "Holier than thou" here. I fly and practice a LOT, and I'm still not as good as I want to be. I focus very keenly on precision and aerobatics, and when I wade through all the "junk" of the last thread, it makes me stop and wonder who the prima donnas really are. . the guys complaining, or the guys who practice every day for hours on end to be able to do things that few people can do.

somehow I think that the guys out there practicing and working at it deserve a bit of credit, and the people complaining are just jealous. Now, who is the prima donna? Certainly not me.

This topic does not belong in this forum. I think it has been covered enough and only starts personal attacks which are not allowed at RCU.

Thanks for understanding.

I don't see anything productive out of this thread, The purpose in discussion threads is to gain and share knowledge, experiances and ideas, this thread has went way out of line...
