I am installing a Griffin-40 ESC in a 2-meter sailplane with a Mabuchi 550 motor (6-7 cells). I am planning on using a 40-amp fuse. Previously, I have used "spade-type" automotive fuses and used quick-connects (spade connectors) to hold them. However, the largest fuse I've used in the past was a 20-amp. The 40-amp automotive fuses I've found are very large (terminals are 5/16" wide). I'm not sure I can find quick-connects this big. What are others using for medium and larger fuses and how are you installing them?
