Help Identifing Hangar 9 mechanical retracts - 8/29/2008 2:57:22 PM

Status: offline 		I have what looks to be Hangar 9 mechanical retracts. I received them with a P-47 150 kit purchased here on RCU but the struts are too short for that plane. I'm wondering if they are for the Hangar 9 P-51 150. The strut length is 6.9 in. from the pivot point to the axle. Any help would be appreciated.

Status: offline 		Sounds like the 51 struts to me. I received a replacement set of for my 51 last year, and HH sent me the 47 set instead. Evidently they don't know the difference either. Regardless, consider throwing them away, if you fly from grass. A short search through the big P-51 thread will show why.
