Hi,
Recently I bought a station RC Eclipse 7. I have some questions:
We tested beating at ground level with the antenna Out: 300m (300ft =), with antenna close over 30 of steps: it is okay?
We tested with a receiver Futaba R-118F 40 MHz with 8 channels and where we have two servo with a cable "Y " one of the servo does not go well, go to zero, then falls back more stops in zero. The other going right. With receiver Hitec HFD-08RO goes well. A possible reason? Servos is GWS standard.
How can connect a switch to Channel 6? I should be independent command for the flaps to scale models.
Tomorrow I will try the station with a model Edge120 with MVVS 26cc gas.
Thanks in advance!
Best regards.
Mugurel

1. 300m = 984' or 300' = 91m? Range with antenna extended is variable at ground level being impacted by many factors. Refer
Eclipse/ Optic Transmitter FAQ What is the maximum range of the Eclipse transmitter? and How do I perform a range check? section "Range check and Range problem solving" at
Alan's Hobby, Model & RC FAQ Web Links may also assist.
2. Faulty servo "Y" leads, even brand new, are not uncommon nor is it uncommon for one servo to have a dirty feed back pot which impacts on performance of either servo - refer sub section "Glitches & Jitter in RX & Servo - causes and cures" at above web page.
3. USA residents are not permited to alter TX and circuit information is not disclosed. Being outside USA, you may find some information on an RC Electronics forum.
Regards
Alan T.

Hi Alan,
Thank you very much for response. 300m = 984.3 foot. Yesterday we tested station on a Cessna 182 model of foam. Till now is OK.

Best regards.

Hi Alan,
Today we tested the station with Edge 540 1.60 model with MVVS gas engine. No problem. The station goes perfectly. We have resolved problems of setting (how we went from 1 in 2 alone). To use this function will falps "LAND" with only 6 channel for them. Eleron will use the channel mix with 1 and 7 on the train 5.
Since a date, thanks for the reply promt
All the best from Romania!
