so im trying to add my second car to my radio... if im reading the directions right i need to set the radio to model 2 and turn the car on. then press the "sw" button on the receiver and wait for the light to go green.. it turns green but when i press the trottle or steer it stops after about 1 second and then blinks red... i do get a moment of steering or throttle but im wondering what im doing wrong...

when i go to model 2... should it be blinking? or should it be solid? hmmm

i had no problems adding my first car and would love some help with this

Try holding down the button on the receiver for several seconds and see if that works, I to have a Futaba 2.4GHz radio and have never even tried a second model yet.

i have the same radio. get it so that you can scroll down from your diffrent model number set it to model 2 or what ever number you want and then press both the plus and minus key together till it beeps and goes solid. and then do the same thing to go back.. i did the same thing you did just now to see what was happening and it is just getting confused and going back to the origanil modell number.. good luck

I think robbio is talking about the receiver's leds blinking and not the transmitter. When I first started switching models, I to had to figure out pressing the +- key is what you press when switching models.

robbio if you go to the Futaba radio tech support area in this forum, a Futaba rep can better answer you question. Only the techs can answer any questions in here, here the link >> http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_125/tt.htm
