Well, here are my own designed and scratch build wooden Cats.
They are named MaxCatV1-L and MaxCatV2-S.
Plans for the V1 are freely available.

I'm going to start soon on a new mono hull I designed and a MaxCatV2-L.

Marcel

Building a offshore cat, started last year. been reading this post, man some very nice work. Puts my efforts to waste.

ply, balsa, going to be sheathed in glass epoxy.

No original plans, aspire to the KOS, just mocked drawings/plans in Paint shop. No skill, No Experience, Basic tools, Just see how far I can get.....

Looking at the beauties here got get this floated, learn and move on.........

No , the engine is a kawasaki kx60 motor cross engine with the gear box cut off to run direct drive which puts out 16 horse power and this is the prop for it 101mm dia. The smaller prop is a prather 280.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH-9zzQBnmc this is the link to You tube for the rigger, it is still early stages and I am only running a 482 on it to get everything sorted and then I will swap to the bigger props and it will go alot faster. Stay tuned.
