HI ALL,

Just trying to get a little of my pent up excitement out, I had a very sucessful 1st ever flight today on an ARC Ready2, loved every minute of it!!!

My plane will be finished next week so it will be in the air before long too!!!

You said you had flight on a Ready ll , then you said your plane will be done next week. Is your plane a Ready also ???

I have a Ready and a couple others by ARC and have really enjoyed them, if that's what you have you should enjoy it also. Just be sure to have an Instructor help so you don't blow it.

Cheers Red, No, my plane isnt a ready. I borrowed the plane I flew today form a very kind club member under expert supervision!!

Mine is an Arising Star, or will be when its all glued together,

Well after a few weeks of yuk weather, yeaterday finally saw me flying the Arising Star!

The plane flew nicely, the irvine 46 that I bought 7 years ago started after a few flicks despite having never run before, all in all, a really good day. Managed nice flat circuits from left and right and some fig8s too. Nowt special, but better than sitting looking at it on the sitting room floor!!

Anyway, hope to get LOTS more flights in very soon!!
