a little uptade for my 41" Sprint cat, powered by a new Redline 6.75HP full mod 260, and used a double water P/U insdee a single one, will see how she does next week.

Judging by the pics i asume you dont intend running this cat with a canopy?.

uh mate, if you didn't remind me, I'd totally forgot this thing, just kidding, I like to run a hull without the cowl.

you might want to put just the front part of the cowl on to keep water from spraying over your carb & stalling your engine.

They look ugly with no cowl though?,plus what about water spray getting in the carb as suggested.

Looking good so far RCB.
I agree,get the canopy on,without it on the water it would look just like a hulk

It all looks as light as the Falcons/Mercury cats..

Thank you guys, I'd take the advice to put a cowl on, just ordered a couple cowl locks.

You might even find it goes faster with the cowl on if its designed well as it might help with downforce aerodynamics etc.

Thanks jake, ran my AM sprint cat today, the speed is getting better, the best passed was 71.2mph, tried to look for mid 70's, see what I can do for her next time, might try more props, have no idea so far. when will you start building your new cat?

Eric from center of your strut to center of your rudder how far apart are they and how deep is the rudder under the sponson(bottom).Drilling holes

jake, check thise picture out, the rudder blade deep is 3-1/2" from bottom of sponson to bottom of the blade.
