XXX-NT Throttle problems - 8/30/2008 11:44:10 PM

Status: offline 		Just got a used XXX-NT AD1. When I pull the throttle all the way the servo clicks and goes back and forth. When I take off the throttle return srring it works fine. So it seems as though the throttle return spring is putting too much tension on the servo? How can I fix this or what can I adjust? Sorry for the noob question.

Status: offline 		sounds like the servo hub or adapter (that attaches throttle arm) is stripped...id say try a new addapter, then if it still happens try a new servo...or a lighter spring. If you have a fail safe you could try taking the spring off..but you risk hitting a bump and the brakes engaging.

Status: offline 		I moved the location of the throttle return spring closer to the arm (so it has less tension). That seemed to do the trick! Thanks again.

Status: offline 		you may still have problem cuz the stock spring in the stock location is NOT too much tension for servo, you may want to check end points (EPA). Or try what Stang said
