CAN ANYONE HELP !

I have a deep vee with cmb 67 hydro racing, drive is semi submerged, boat speeds up in turns and slows down a lot on the sraight, the only way i can get the rpm up is to make a turn ! Does anybody have any ideas ?

Sounds like the ride attitude of your boat needs adjustment. Adjust your strut angle to raise the rear of the strut. That will tend to lift the bow of the boat and get it free of the water. I picture your boat "plowing" when going straight. Make the adjustments in small increments until the boat is running free. The prop may also be a factor. To much prop will load the engine on the straights. In the turns the boat leans and the prop is lifted towards the surface where it can unload, allowing the engine to speed up and increase the boat speed. If the trim adjustments don't work, try a smaller prop.
