I want something that is a little harder to fly and i can do more with (CP pro). i like the CX2 because of the spektrum DSM but i already have the CX..... Hey butthead ~

Sorry, my sense of humor snuck out..... Anyway, madmax22 one very popular heli is the HBK2 from Esky... An excellent craft, but ya must make sure its brushless. The stock motor cans are crap. I also see they have an HBK3 out now on Jag's website. For a quicker learning curve, this would be just one of a few heli's out there that would guarantee your success. The Belt Cp is also a good one, a little bigger and comparible in size to the Rex 450....

I learned on the CPP and currently have two. I won't knock it cause it holds sentimental value to me as my start-up heli, but it is a handul, and will take longer to progress and also noting parts are on the expensive side compared to others out there. You can make it fly it will just take time, and understanding and some tweaking to get it there. Evedreamer on here can fly the crap out of his, with some mods that he did to his...

Jags website is below: & also Michael at USHOBBYSUPPLY carries esky products as well and is a member here on RCU. He is highly noted by many here

Anyway good luck to ya,

~ Jeff

The CX2 is great also. It taught me orientation very well for flying the bigger birds. I still love it ! I have a feeling you might like the Belt CP better, as it's bigger size will provide better stability, and will put up with the wind better than a 300 class heli, like the CPP or HBK2. The transmitter might not be the best, but it will be good for now. Save the purchase for the CPP until ya get more experience. Honestly..... Your gonna hear that endlessly as you start learning about heli's. Just some FYI for ya....

I was fortunate not to get tempted to sell any of my cars since I've been into the heli's, and I'am glad I didn't. You don't realize how much ya miss them until a long period of time goes by and you fire them up again. My passion will always be with the heli's. I just started piddling with the planes since July 20th also, and that's a blast for sure but nothing compares to the helicopters ! (You'll see) You'll start losing sleep, RCU will be your other home, and all you think about while your concious is heli's.........You've been warned...Lol..

Hey have fun deciding, and learning ! Take your time and do some research, its worth it in the end...........

The Belt CP is a great helicopter. I had a lot of flights on mine and it will do 3D pretty good. But there is no battery protection because you have to have the battery hanging half way out of the helicopter to get it balanced. And I lost a battery in the helicopter learning to do loops. It is also a great scale flyer, so if you won't crash that much you won't have to worry about the battery.
