Hello Everyone

My father-in-law and I did the first flight of his mini bell yesterday morning. The first flight was pretty darn good. It flew out of my hand and climbed like a home sick angel. To fly level required quite a bit of down trim.

The mini bell is powered by Cox .020 and is guided by a specktrum 6100. I don't know what the weight is as I don't have scales accurate enough but it is light in comparison with what I am used to. With the .020 is is very quick until the engine quits.

The next plane on the list is right at the other end of the scale. We are working on his rather large Bud Nosen lil stick to be powered by Saito 5 cyl radial.

Cheers
Tarquin

Hello

Renes engine collection contains a couple more .020's in good run-able condition but not a .010. Does anyone have a .010 in run-able condition they would be prepared to trade or partial trade for a .020? If not does anyone have any leads on where to acquire a .010 from?

Cheers

Hello Schu

I should have been more specific the engine Rene has to trade is a .020 Pee Wee.

The .010 only came as a TD, is that correct?

Tarquin,
10-4 the .010 only came in the TD. I have a few of the Pee Wee's, so the trade does not interest me much, but I just saw a TD .010 go for 50.00 on this site or the other a couple of days ago, but if you see one you need to jump quick.

What a nice model, I have a Sr Falcon at home, first propo model. It had Futaba linear servos and an OS 58. Sadly in is now missing the empennage (serious hangar rash)

I enjoyed it so much I collected all the other Falcons (in boxes) that I could find. My Mini Bell was bought a couple of years ago and I'm ashamed but I haven't built it yet.

I even have a KeilKraft Falcon waiting for my tender care.
