I redid the top part of my atlantic tug smoke stack in order to make it look more like a 40's era YTB . I would like to get some opinions on weather it looks overall correct or if im totally wrong the pics that ive found are mostly from the side of the stack any comments will be welcome.sorry for posting this in the wrong forum (originally postd in th speed elctric forum)

Looks reasonable to me. The nozzle man on that fire monitor is going to get a lot of diesel fumes, but .

I thought the same thing but after looking at several pictures of tugs with the rear mast fire monitor arrangement i guess that it wasn't that much of a concern .

The stack itself looks very nice. However, it is a bit odd because it is the same height as the cab. I would suggest making the smokestak somewhat higher. Easily done if you add a sort of base under the stack, which can even be a square shape, doesn't have to be round.

Alot of the pictures i have gone through of tugs from the era that my tug is based on have the stack at the same hieght as the wheel house or just a slight bit higher but not by much.
