Would this be for steering or throttle and braking? The requirements for steering are very different from that of a throttle & braking servo.

Must be steering - it's an electric car

Oh, I didn't know what a TT-01 was. I had a 50/50 chance of it being a nitro car or truck. If this is a onraod car, then a digital servo would be best. Digital servos have that extra precision that onroad cars can utilise. In this case the Futaba S9451 is perfect for this case.

I think it also depends on use. The 9451 is a very nice servo but also pricey. The TT01 is a $100 electric kit and if all you're doing is running it around the block then you don't need the torque and speed of an $85 servo.

If just "bashing" but still looking for decent digital performance then a S3050 ($55) would be fine, if racing then ya, the 9451 is great (or 9452 since the 9451 has been discontinued).

If you're on a budget then the S3004 ($14), which replaced the S3003 (has been used for years as a steering servo), is an option. It's weak and slow compared to the new expensive ones but still does the job.
