Hi,

I am looking for RC for general backyard and inside bashing. I honestly wouldn't mind if slow, but I want very durable one. I was leaning toward 1/18th. I want to make sure it can go in grass in the yard, park etc. or I need to find something else to buy.

I am leaning toward XRAY M18MT RTR. It states it comes with the pro body, but the M18MT pro costs over $200 so I assume there is a difference in the bodies? I would consider building it up from scratch, but no hobby store in town and I am a little concerned I will order all the parts and nuts etc needed....

Any thoughts on if I am on the right track here?

Have a look at some video links posted in this RTR thread.
At stock power levels you migh try the RTR M18MT for some slower grass action. The composite chassis is pretty good but will eventually crack if you dead stop cracsh impact often enough. I have bashed to destruction but it's not a real concern for normal driving.

The Pro is a great kit (superb hop ups) but unless you want higher power level action I could not justify your extra initial cash unless you jump straight to burshless and lithium packs (my personal view, I know some may well disagree). Either way has it's merits...

Anyway check the RTR thread, lots of info there .
