Zenoah clutch problem - 9/2/2008 1:00:34 AM

Status: offline 		Today my clutch seems to have broken free. While running about 35 MPH the prop stopped and the enginge ran up. I did not hit anything and checked all setting. Has anyone had this problem or have any idea what happened. I am new to boats but have alot of experience with planes. Any suggestion? I did not want to go tearing stuff apart when it is a set screw or something. Please help.

The boat is a Prather 52 with a G23 Zenoah.

Status: offline 		Did you check your flex drive cable?? If you rev it up and the clutch bell spins and the prop does not you probably broke the drive cable. They are easy to replace.

Status: offline 		Also check the drive dog is done up properly on the prop shaft
