Dear Seekers;

I desire to convert to an A123 battery system for my flight controls from Li-ions

Please advise me on the proper set-up for a 16lb. 30% airplane with (5) digital hi torque servos for flight controls and 2 analogue servos for the choke and throttle.

Currently using (2) 8.4 volt 2400 mah Li-ions in parallel regulated to 6 Volts (fromeco) to the receiver then flight control servos.

If I convert to A123's, do I still need to run a regulator?

Duralite packages....good, bad ?

what charger should I look for?

Depending on the type and number of servos you may not need to use any regulators with the A123 cells.
