RE: Extreme Flight Vanquish 2M?
Word is that it will be by around the end of the year. Should be interesting to see how well she flies. My only concern is quality. Despite coming out from the same factory as Sebart the quality is not the same bearing in mind EF planes are priced slightly above average. However, the new hardware on the latest EF planes are nice. Much better than last time.

I talked to Curtiss at Extreme and he said they were still doing testing and that the 2M vanquish may be available by Christmas. I'll be watching, will you?

Only own the Vanquish from Extremeflight and the quality of the kit was with the best of them, haven't seen an arf yet that is perfect quality wise anyway.
However the most impressive part with the EF planes I've seen is the engineering, they are just so well and cleverly constructed without any of those less than brilliant solutions that makes you want to modify a kit immediatly.

Greetings gentlemen. Thanks so much for your interest in the new 2 meter Vanquish. As we are not current advertisers here on RCU I don't want to overstep the boundaries by posting pics and information here. I will be happy to discuss details and show pics if you will contact us at our email address.
Thanks again,
Chris Hinson

I agree Arch.
I haven't seen a better ARF than the Extreme Flight Arf's. I've owned 4 now, and loved every one! They take their time in releasing a very good quality product at a price that is almost unbelievable for the quality!

The Vanquish has been 'coming soon' now for like 2 years.. I was starting to think it was a vapour release. Does your offer to show/send pics, mean that it's finally going to be released? Or will it still be 'coming soon'?
As far as quality goes, EF makes nice stuff and it's a good quality. However, Tianci was comparing to SebArt, which comes from the same factory, but is constructed slightly better/nicer. On average SebArt quality is slightly higher.

And on top of the fact that they build quality stuff. I think the best part of EF is the customer service. Chris and the rest of the guys there are always willing to jump in and lend a hand. They realize this is a service business and do whatever they can to help out customers. Great people to deal with.

Also Chris decided to release the kind of trade up program where you are rewarded with a certain amount of credit towards a new extreme flight airplane. I think the amount the credit is worth is decided on if you place 1st 2nd or 3rd. 1st being the highest amount, and 3rd being the lowest.
That really helps out alot of people.

I just hope they do it right as a pattern plane. No 3D surfaces (offer 3D surfaces as optional), CF gear and tubes, well designed landing gear box, and wheel pants big enough to handle at least 2-3/4" wheels for thick grass fields. I have had a few EF planes and I'd say they are second to Sebart. Never met an ARF I totally liked but EF and Sebart are definitely the best I've seen to date.

No 3D surfaces on it, full out pattern plane. It is very nice and will be competitive with the top end pattern planes. As with all of the Extreme Flight planes everything will top notch, that is once again why Chris takes the extra time when developing his planes, to make sure everything is as good as it can be. As soon as I get mine I'm sure you'll see it here locally, and I will be a regular next season as well as going to the NATS.
