I am not dissing the Jammin 28 as I haven't run it. I can tell you that I'd get the OS28 in a heartbeat. I've got it and the power is everywhere and runtimes are outstanding. I ran a 15 min main 2 weeks ago and only had to pit once. The knock on 28's is crappy runtimes for racing and sometimes it's accurate (Nova 528, craploads of power, better pit every 5 minutes!) but this is a race engine thru and thru.

ive seen the o.s .28, this guy i pitted for once, took it out of his truck and put it in his buggy. it seemed alright to me. he was actually getting beat by a dynamite .28 engine.

A good motor is the LRP .28 the series 3 one..I have had good luck with the XTM 457..buddy of mine won the Roar sportsman nationals with one..only problem is you get 7 minutes on fuel..thats it..Then the OS is good, The Go .28 looks fast also..

15minute runs? wow thats unheard of. OS has a lot variety in their engines models, are you talking about OS vspec or xz or vg or speed or ... ?

I have both JPX 28 as well as OS 28.......... I Like the OS alot, but I like the JPX better...... the JPX has a better powerband with more even power from idle to top end..........modded vs modded the JPX to me feels much better then the OS 28 does...
