We at he USRA are allowing electric Sundowners to come and race. We are seeking help from E guys to help us keep these E beasts tamed down enough to speeds of 120-130 MPH. We need suggestions and input from outside sources to ensure a great race coming up in Oct at El Mirage dry lake bed. ANy help will be appreciated.
Thx
Marty

Marty,

I'm in Iraq right now but return home in a couple weeks. I have an 80 SD with an EVO35 set up per the USRA rules. I live in SD and would like to try this racing thing out.

Where can I go that is reasonable distance?

Thanks.

C

Chad,
First of thx for doing what you are doing in Iraq.
I had a bother in the Marines who spent time during Desert Storm.

Im not sure of the question.
As far as a reasonable distance to go to try this out, I feel this plane will fly off any club field with no problem.
The race we are having is Oct 30 (tech day) to Nov 2.
It is on El Mirage Dry Lake Bed in CA.

I believe SD is within 4 hrs of this spot????
Maybe someone closer to you can chime in here and offer a good location.
Thx
Marty
