I have been looking around to get a mini RC. I then saw then CR-01, which is exactly the type of RC I would like. What is the closest version in a mini, or is there one?

I have been leaning toward getting an M18MT, but perhaps I should look for a crawler. I just want it to tool around in the house and back yard and climb over stuff. I don't really care if it is fast. I do want it high quality and durable though. Upgradeable would be cool too.

Can you gear down another mini to do this? The mini-crawlers have such long shocks and axles they almost don't look like scale vehicles. I guess I was not sure how this would last with my 2 1/2 year old who I will already have a hard time keeping from breaking the vehicle...

Losi Mini Crawler

Duratrax Cliff Climber:

The Cliff Climber has a slightly more "scale" appearance as far as the body goes. The Losi comes with a MUCH better electronics setup (2.4Ghz vs the Cliff Climber's AM). The Losi uses a center mounted tranny with a single motor and driveshafts running to each axle. The CC has a motor on each axle, no driveshafts and no center tranny plus four wheel steering.

The Losi is the equivalent of a Mini Axial Scorpion and the CC is more of a mini Clodbuster of sorts.
