Because it is a PCM JR 9 ch Rx. You have a 9 ch Tx.

Servos and gyro has nothing to do with it.

I have been real happy with my Berg 7P at 1/3 the price of that JR RX previously mentioned and will work great with your 9303.

Bergs do not work on PCM systems. It even says not for use with PCM encoded signals in the manual.

You get what you pay for, get the JR.

The 9303, as far as I know, will transmit in PCM or PPM. In fact I don't know off hand of any PCM only transmitters.

Why? I run PPM on my King II without issue.

Really? Why not?
I run PPM on all my electrics without a problem at all.

Get the JR 790UL Its a 7 ch PCM receiver . TEX is wrong. You don't need a 9ch receiver with a 9ch TX. You can usually run PPM on heli's and you don't really want to drag a 9ch receiver around in a small 450 sized heli. The 790UL is 12grams vs 30 grams for the 649. You also will want the smaller receiver to fit better in the frame. I'm flying the 770 in both my 450s with the 401 and 9650 using a 9303. Oh and the 790UL is scan select so you don't need a crystal and it is $89 vs $159 + the crystal.

I use PCM to lock out all the glitching caused by the electrics. I don't just guess, I used PPM, I used the Berg 7, I know their faults.

Just my opinion, use what you want.

Doesn't it depend on the radio?
get the DX7 and ar6100 for that heli.

It has been by far the best for me.

When choosing a receiver the gyro is irrelevant. you'll want to chose a receiver that will be compatible with the transmitter you have. And yes PPM will be more susceptible to glitches and interference, than PCM or spread spectrum. If you transmitter is capable of broadcasting in PCM thats the way I would go.
