My buggy runs fine as long as I keep the glow plug charger on it even after it's warmed up. The second I remove it it dies.

Do I need a new glow plug or a different one?

Yes replace your glow plug mcoy 59 is a good plug.

Its a Tuning Issue.....
Its either running Way too lean or Way too Rich.......

My Guess would be Way too rich.....
What are your LSN ang HSN needles set at (how many turns out)?

ya lean it out, and use a mccoy MC-59, and lean it out.

I think its a bad plug, lol

i like our plugs, the eg0002 or the os a3 but its all a matter of prefrence.

thats the first sign the plug is bad. Its not a tuning issue. Running rich or lean wil kill the plug but if you take off the ignitor and it dies , the plug is shot.

Ok...I don't Doubt you guys, but I need to Understand this.......

The Plug is simply a spiral filament (like a light bulb). Igniter Voltage from insulated pin to ground makes it glow. If the filament is open,(breaks or burnt up) it cant glow and Engine wont start.

If the filament is intact, it WILL glow (Ohms Law), and if it glows and your engine is tuned (all else being OK) then the Engine should fire up and run.

So,,,, what am I missing here "O Wise Ones) ?

just because the filiment is intact doesn't mean the plug is good.

it has something to do with the platinum coil, it will light up with an igniter on it but once the juice is taken away they wont keep igniting. Why is another story, i never questioned it, its just the way it is, lol

Ok...
I'm Hip to That now.....
I guess a good Rule of Thumb is to just Replace the Glow plug if you are having difficulty starting and its not obvious what the problem is....
