I am looking into fpv flying not going to start anything soon but i want something that is medium size and i thought about the coaxial helis that are out there and use a camera setup with head tracking motion they have on hobbywireless.com. can anyone lead me to the ideal coaxial heli? looks easy to fly even though ill "train" myself with it. I may need to modify it with a diff. reciever and tranmiter a 7cap i want to get that works with the head tracking mechanism and software. the reason i want the coaxial heli is because after reviewing all the videos related to it it seems to be the most stabe ship out of all the flying aircraft i thought about to use. because with the coaxial heli the advantage is the double blades that can help stabalize the flight. so im looking into a real good heli setup that i can use for fpv flying in front of my place i live in acreage and thought this will be ideal. thanks.!!!!

Hello everyone,

Today the official kickstarter.com launch of the Techpod UAV/FPV plane was launched. This is a joint effort between AeroTeam member, Wayne Garris' and Aerosight.

Please feel free to go to the kickstarter.com website and search "TECHPOD" to view the video.

Remember, any help provided is appreciated! You can donate a little or a lot and of course the long term result is a model that's available to everyone! Help us get these into production!!!

Things to know:

  • When you click donate, you set the amount but it will not be billed until the project ends and only if the campaigne was successfull in raising funds... So don't worry, we'll only draw from your funds when we are able to produce the planes.
  • In the event we start production on these, we will be adding more products to them as well as creating other devices and aircraft as well.

PLEASE!!!

Tell all your buds at the flying field, those that want to help the "Little guy" succeed and anyone else that's interested as we want to expand these planes to Natural Resource uses, Search and Rescue, Educational Facilities and so on.

We can't pull this off without you!!!

Look into the Multiplex FunCopter. It is a beginner Heli also and is very durable.
It is quite large and I bet would carry all your fv stuff better than a small Coax.

Reported the guy above.
