deans perform better all around its a very noticable difference traxxas works just as well as long as you use it on the batt to so i just switched to deans all around

I'd stick with the stock connector. You won't have any warranty issues and it's as good as deans. Only reason I cut off the traxxas connectors is that I'm already using deans on all my batteries and chargers, plus my friend uses deans and its handy to have batteries with a common connector in case we need to swap. More and more lipos are coming with the option to have the trx connector on it, so if you aren't already deans, stay traxxas.

Traxxas connectors are pretty good, I'd keep them so that your warranty is kept safe.

I say keep the Traxxas ones, they seem to be able to handle the same amp draw that the Deans do, and are a whole lot easer to sodder.
