use locktight on every screw. Get the blue stuff. If u don't, u will screw up alot of stuff. Always clean and inspect ur vehicle after every run. Never leave fuel in the tank. and HAVE FUN

The first upgrade you should get is the crescenzi brake kit. You can get it from rc10gthobby.com. This is an awesome upgrade and will allow much finer breaking control.

I just brought my RC10GT last night with my B-day money (hey, I'm 15!). I'm running a factory team version with aluminum shocks, some sort of clutch upgrade, and a fantom 12 engine. By the way, my truck is used (thats why I got a 700 dollar total truck for 225 dollars. I spent an extra 55 dollars for a JR battery charger, and a gallon 20% fuel. I've got a futaba 2ph in it.

the rc10 is popular because it is fairly simple in design. i was working on my friends xxx-nt, and that thing was a pin in the ass. but the xxx-nt makes up for it with better quality and handling.

my rc10gt is cursed, seems like everytime i run it theres a freak accident....

The only better quality found with the XXX-NT is with the radio gear. The truck itself isn't any better. In fact, the RC 10 is more durable than the Losi. The simpler, the better.

Hey guys, well i should be recieving my rc10gt sometime this coming week, i traded some stuff for this rc10gt http://www.rcuniverse.com/gallery/showgallery.php?ppuser=14607&cat=500&thumb=1 . Its older style team rc10gt with a tub chassis and a dynamite .12 engine. Now I have a few questions. First thing i want to do is upgrade the chassis, so i know there is a kit for a non-pullstart and a pullstart, which one do you guys recomend? What kind of engine should I upgrade to, and should i stick with a pullstart or nonpullstart(i want the cheapest) ? Any other things i should do to as far as upgrades?I really dont want to pour too much money into this project, I also have an emaxx im trying to upgrade. Im new to nitro, so sorry for all the questions. Please any help will be appreacited. Oh yeah, and i will be asking alot of questions in the future.
