Panther F, I must be looking in the wrong spot but I cannot find anything in those links that relate to the T-55. Could you post a direct link to the build post to help me out?

Wacky: Pershing electronics would be ok, but I think they just ripped off a Tamiya write up to save on translating costs and that their own electronics will be self made but based on functions similar to a Tamiya Pershing, that is just my speculation, I would love to be wrong but sadly think I will not be.

Cheers

Alan.

Panther F mis-replied in this thread and mistook your comments as being towards the Chunwai Abrams (another thread)... slight derail, but no harm done...

Yeah, yeah ... that's the ticket. [sm=lol.gif] I should be severely reprimanded for that, a first for me. [sm=71_71.gif]

Alan,

When I say I live in the neighborhood, I'm not kidding since Feng's factory is only 30 mins away from where I live. I plan to see him later this week & will try to get us some info on his new model.

Yes! that'll be great. And when you are there, can you also check out on the T-55's drivetrain system? Thanks!

Chuck,

See if you can buy one for me, I can paypal you no trouble.

I could buy a whole stack and would have no trouble selling them here, but first a test model for my own personal enjoyment.

I am in Germany however will be in the USA for 2 weeks next month if that helps with the postage and customs and so on.

I was about to scratch build a modern Ruski tank and now I do not need to!

Cheers

Alan.

Can you find out about the electronics either? If its a real tamiya DMD in it I might consider the whole thing with the electronics.

I'd really love to see how well its built mechanically...

Even if the electronics are garbage, as a base for HL guts and some 'movie' tweaking, I'd love to see 'T-5447' roll again...

Very impressive...Must resist...resist...Frankly, even without the electronics, I don't mind getting just the body as it is with the gearbox.

Impressive torsion system, takes up little space!

Said they would send me a video of it when running!

BILL @ RCCOMMAND...

So....how long until you can supply us with these ?

Perhaps this company will also bring us a 1/16 ABRAMS as well.....

Note how their "wiring" looks very familiar.. colors used, connectors used... wonder if that is just prototype wiring or going to be production wiring in the same colors ...

Very nice details... can't wait to see more photos and video....

Daym...

Now I wanna make T5447 much more... wonder if you can talk 'em into putting 'Beast's serial # on the glacis (130300) to save us some nit-picking detailing.

Get 'em to buy the DVD and watch the movie before they fine-tune the production, will ya?

And beg 'em not to use that hokey 'chassis-recoil' and stick with just the barrel recoil, ok?

Very cool. These tank companies should make atleast 2 tanks from every erra. The 2best MBT's of the time period. Korea ,Vietnam, the 80's ,90's and present.
