Status: online 		Love these days...I believe it's why we fly....
I'm a flight mech on a full scale 727..the aircraft has been in "c" check, so I haven't been home in 3 weeks.
Need to fly..check the weather winds as high as 14 kts..(not good)...check the weather late last night...winds have been reduced to 10 and will peak later in the day....
ok I'll get up early, quick charge the Ultimate and iron down a patch of loose trim...just as I walk into the garage/hangar it begins to pour rain....check the radar..we gotta be the only place in Florida that's getting rain....it won't last...
Start the charge and ironing the patch..now it is really coming down.....wake the daughter ( she flies with me) and the Grandson....rain is a sprinkle now...
Load the Radio control aircraft support vehicle (van)...go get coffee and off to the field...first ones there...no rain, no wind.....
Get the aircraft ready... complete the preflight....teach Grandson how to hold for me...
First flight...man love that .75AX with the 15x6 prop makes a nice noise...the aircraft is flying very well...loops, rolls, cuban 8's, kneif edges, hammer heads,..now let's do a touch and go...remember it's been three weeks.....nice and smooth...ok full stop...the same....well if it starts to rain again at least I have 1 flight....
people start to show up...the rest of the day is shootin the breeze with friends..and 2 more flights as good as the first.....followed with more shootin the breeze....
Man what a day......I've been flyin for a few years now.....Still love the hobby
