Just a hunch here. What radio are you using. You may have inadvertanty have the smoke pump mixed with the throttle and when you advance the throttle it is shutting down the smoke pump.

Need a little more info and I can help further. What radio are you using and what channel is your smoke on?

If your radio has channel mixing capabilities, check to make sure that your throttle is not mixed to your gear switch. If that is not the case, you have something impeding the flow of the smoke fluid to the muffler. Hope that helps some.

Hi,
I ran into that problem when I tried smoke. I decided it was the muffler back pressurizing the pump and tank causing the pump to lose its prime. I think I fixed it by installing a check valve between the muffler and the pump.
