Please bare with me as I am a complete newbie dimwit .

A few months ago I bought a USED Losi Mini T from eBay and as I live in Cambodia I have had to wait all this time for a mate to bring it over . I also bought two extra battery packs from eBay that are supposed to be suitable ( http://cgi.ebay.com/2-7-2V-NiMH-1400-mah-Packs-For-HPI-Losi-Mini-T-LST-NEW_W0QQitemZ200254644813QQihZ010QQcategoryZ34061QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262 ) so I would have plenty of juice and I bought these batteries after googling extensively.

Now I have some problems and baring in mind where I live, I can't just pop off to the local RC store because there is not one ! Also, there was no instruction manual ( just a parts plan ) with the car which pisses me off !

- The connections on the Dahan battery does not seem to match the connection pins that are inside the car !! I should have taken a photo of the battery pack it came with to show you. The one already in the car has two white plastic male pins that are at right angles to each other and then the battery pack has the female slots. The Dahan ones have two little "eyes " I have googled again this morning and these seem to be the right ones but again, they do not match what is in the car unless I am missing something. Has the seller customised the car ?

There was also no charger with the car ( again - pissed off and I cannot go back to eBay to talk to the seller because it only stores 60 day old transactions = DUMB ! ) so I am stuck on that front as well. Can you advise which charger I should buy to match the Dahan batteries if i can indeed use them ?

If someone can help or steer me to the right links, I would be grateful. Can you imagine what it is like to be a (40yr old ) boy who has waited 3 months for Xmas to come and now cannot fire up his toy ? D E V A S T A T E D. The truck is staring at me saying
" ok...for god sake can we get on with it !"

Status: offline 		if the connectors on the car are RED color and have 2 rectangle slots ... i vertical and one horizontal then its called a deans connector

go google deans connector buy a couple of males and females ... solder the femal on the batter and make on charger and ESC

That is exactly what the plugs look like ! thanks.

Were these standard with the Losi or has the guy customised ? What a ****head if he has becuase he never listed that on eBay and we talked and I made it clear where I was and the challenges I was facing with parts.

Given that I have two brand new DAHAN packs, I think I am better getting the plug for those packs. WHat is that plug called ?

And soldering ?

Status: offline 		plug called DEANS ULTRA PLUGS ... put the FEMALE ONES BATTERY

soldering is the process of melting tin onto a bondable metal surface and when the tin dried it is lke glued on and forms a good bond ..

GO ON YOUTUBE and type in soldering "how to solder deans" you will find a bunch of vids HELPS MUCHO

for soldering you need a solder iron

ebay solder iron and pick up a cheap one if you are just going to use it once ...you can get like a $10 one but quality might be cheap ..and some solder ...

Just a final ??....ccan you recommend a charger that takes those plugs ?

Status: offline 		no...every charger will come with the wrong plug ...

i have 2 chargers that are useless to me now and they are GREAT AWESOME CHARGERS !

they are peak chargers which mean that they are the best kind of charger to charge batteries with and the only kind you should use

i'll sell you it for $10 for the charger and not sure about shipping ...tho...

Status: offline 		deans .... deans are the best IMO and prolly should be used on any 1/18th car

standard plugs suck and will melt ... deans plug also make your car go a little bit faster and run smoother ...
