If so, have you used the 4-one inch metal cylinder motor mount extenders included with the standard nylon filled mount?
It would appear that such a long distance from the firewall (7 inches) to the engine front washer and prop using this add-on is excessive and would cause undesirable vibration. Never having seen such a gimmick to extend the mount from the firewall, it makes one hesitate before installing, especially with a FS 90 - 120 engine.

I don't have this plane, but a friend does...

I suggested that he make an extender block from hardwood instead of using the provided supports.

Basically make a wooden "cube" of the right length, width, then cut a trough in it to make it somewhat "U" shaped.

The center part of the "U" is used for pushrods, etc.

Drill out holes to correspond to the blind nuts, and smooth out the corners as desired for a nicer look.

Treat the wood with fuel proofing

Place the block between the motor and the mount. You can even epoxy the block into place if you wish, but that is not required.

This widens the contact area, prevents harmonics, and distributes the forces on the blind nuts over a larger area, helping to preserve everything.

Though 4" is not that excessive...

I've seen people put in 6" spacers on large Gasser engines, something I'd never do due to the torsional forces on the blind nuts, this creates.

Thanks for your reply...and interest. From reading over the many posts on this site it is especially appreciated to receive such an intelligent and informative response. The box type construction for the mount was seriously considered prior to this post...as always, proven results are always the prudent approach.
