RC Plane vs Big Machine Guns I wonder if it is really that hard to shoot that RC plane with all that firepower.

What fun!!! Flying the plane would be a hoot - but I'd rather be behind one of the Brownings!

it is hard. i watched several paint ball guns trying to shoot a very close in trainer for a long time. you even had the tracer effect with the big paint balls and still had a hard time shooting it down. however that video is nuts. how much lead and gunpowder was wasted?

If I were selling the ammo, the plane would be cheap advertisement. Think about it. Pay $25 bucks to shoot + whatever ammo you use. The most you are out is $200 bucks with the model.

There is a commercial business in England that arranges corporate days out to shoot at models. They use shotguns and the models are simple deltas with some protection round the radio gear.

Unless the guys are very good shots you have to fly low and real slow and real closeto give them a chance to hit you.

They also do RC fixed and Heli and Jet training.
