Thank you, I was not sure if I wanted to do it like what I saw in the plans. I decided to do it my design, and I like it much better.
Also, I already installed the parts you sent, and with a little adjusting here and there. The flex cable moves real well, with very little friction, and no binding what so ever.
In the morning, I plan to send out a letter of thank you. Can hardly wait to see the other parts, I feel like a kid in a ice cream shoppe.

Today, I shall work on the second cabin, and layout all the wood, with the plans in my head. This boat was not designed with what I have done so far. It was suppose to look like a typical scarab, but I see to many look a likes. I wanted something different, then any boat ever built. I did not sit down and draw a new set of plans, or draftings. It is all stored in my head, with a a full vision of what it will look like.
This is the cabin that will be able to remove, at a moments notice to start or work on. I was going to use real strong magnets to hold it in place, but I contacted DUZ Fasteners and they sent me a couple of samples to study. They are strong, and yet will be almost hidden from view.
Plus I have a cooling design in my head for the cooling of the exhaust, with water cooling, and a small fan. Also, there will be a small fan forward to draw in air, and one aft to exit all the hot air.
Will send pictures to this post when some what done.

I received a gas tank from my friend soundguykaraoke50, and added my little touch to it.
Also, I finished putting the interior walls on the berth cabin, I will be adding a special frame to house the main cabin.
Have been under the weather, my grandson has given me some kind of cold, who knows, love the little guy.
Here is some pictures for you to check out, a lot more later.

If you have not noticed, I used a old inhaler for the gas neck, and cap. The line input & output was where the new gas fill is, I simply drilled a new correct size hole.
There is a small hole in the cap, this is where a brass tube will go, to filter the fumes out of the hull, and provide proper venting with a one way valve.
The valve will let the fumes out, but keep the water out, and to prevent the gas being sucked out, as air passes over the tube.

Hi Butch,

As always, you are doing a fine job on your boat! Your gas tank is looking very realistic and is well thought out.

Feeling much better today enough to check out a few ideas in my head, but I am not going to rush it.
You have quite a excellent fleet, and vast.
I also noticed you are somewhat into four wheeling, looks like a truck or a jeep.

I took alook at the boat, at the parts are great, and should make yours scream with desire.
Yes, the hull looked shabby, but leave me to and I bet I could make it worth while.
Keep your eyes open, looking for a project to do while conserving the big boat for further experiments.
