M1A1 APU
Hi All,
Am currently detailing a HE M1A1 Abrams prior to gutting and replacing the electronics and running gear

I was going place the APU in the turret basket as you see on all replica M1A1's, when I read a comment
from an actual tanker on the above site that stated, "After we dumped the APU's, we moved in."
Was this normal policy, or was it particular to this tank unit?
