hopefully supertib will see this. i want to get a picco modded but i dont know which one to get. there are the JPX the EVO's and the just straight up picco 28's

which gives the best preformace when modded?

You need a pull start engine, so I think your only option is a Picco P3 28 non turbo. You can buy a turbo button for the pull start and that is what he will want you to do. The JPX is the same engine but I do not think you can get it in a pull start. Do they make the EVO in anything but a 21? Bud

no the evo is only a 21. i have a stock picco 28 that is busted up. i got it from a friend for 50 bux. would the .28t fit a pull start if i put it on? also i heard the pull starts are weak, how so?

They are not the best pull starters out there, I break the ropes pretty because of the angle in a Savage and the return spring seems prone to breakage. It is fine though as they usually are very easy to start after broken in. I just keep a couple of spares around, but I have eleven Picco pull start engines. Bud

ok im ordering one with a pullstart... ill keep the other picco for parts. no were do i get the turbo buttons. ofna is not taht great on picco replacement parts.

I got lucky and scored one on Ebay, a carb, turbo button, heat sink and turbo back plate for 45 dollars shipped. When it got here it had a crank and block too. The crank was ruined, but the spare parts were nice to have.

Ofna sells them for 39.95 on their site, Amainhobbies sells them for 32.95, but they are back ordered right now. Bud
