I have a sportwerks v2 .21 that I bought for my jammin. it has a sts pipe, silver ofna cluth shoes with medium springs. I am running a Mccoy 59 plug with nitrothane 20%. I bought the motor used, has excellent compression, and I bought a new carb as it did not have one. When I first tried starting the motor, it would fire, but the idle would start low then accelerate like the throttle was open. I sealed the back plate, needles and carb base. Now it has a hard time starting, and when it does the idle seems high strung ( best way to describe). Im reset needles, and It would idle but flame out when I appy some throttle. Help please! I think I might have a leak in my tank, but I cannot find it. When I dunked my tank I got bubbles but I could only make it do it once. I have a h7 that Im gonna steal the tank and try.

I will try that. As of right now motor idles, still seems high strung. bogs on bottom as I roll on throttle. I have gone in on the low needle almost one turn, nothing, so Im back it back out and gonna switch glow plug.

Try getting it up to temp with a heat gun or hair dryer before you start it. Mine has the same problems when I start it cold, until it warms up to about 200 degrees or more... I use the mc-8 plugs on 20% nitro
