Status: offline 		i just bought the E-10 Drift, I haven't owned an RC in 15 years but drove by a hobby shop 2 weeks ago and thought i would get back into the hobby. after a few google searches i found some RC drift video's and i was hooked again. i don' want to own $5k+ worth of RC gear again so the E-10 seamed like a good fit.

Status: online 		ok here we go ive been meaning to post some pic's of some new upgrades i just got, ive offically eliminated the steering slop. ive fitted the atomic steering upgrade & have nearly finilised the adjustable steering turnbuckles, the ones pictured are version 1.1a (I ordered the wrong parts) also have replaced every screw i can with light weight ones, dont mind the wiring its a bit messy since i fitted the novak cut off.

Status: offline 		those look like some nice upgrades, i must say i was really disturbed by the amount of slop in this car when i first took it out of the box.
i was also disappointed with the whole motor mount and gear mesh system they use.

i am really fighting my old habit's and trying not to upgrade until something breaks.
when i do start upgrading I'm sure it will be to address the slop

Status: offline 		well I put the brushless in and all I can say is wow ... this thing moves . I also upgraded to driveshaft to aluminum . Whats Ideal motor temp on a brushless I had to go from a 22 pinion to a twenty it was running at 140 now its about 119.

Status: offline 		Well I ran the e10 today with the castle creations sidewinder 4600kv and I used the stock gearing . The motor temp only go up to 150 degrees and esc was 100. This thing flies . I have posted pictures and as you can see with a team orion 3900 nimh battery she hit 30 . I also put on the vintage wheels and tires today .

Status: online 		thats cool, umm u should be able to get heaps faster, might be worth trying a 30t pinion. or was that 30km/h or mph?

4600kv at 7.2v = 33120rpm hummm. whats the Circumferencec or diameter of your wheels?

Status: offline 		Well First off the car comes with bearings for the wheels , but you will need to get yourself bearing for both diffs , there are 3 in each diff two for the axles and one for the pinion gear. Also get yourself an extra pinion set they are plastic and wear out fast if your running alot of power through the car. I run mine stock with no problems and that is with a brushless system . Change the wheels and tires , the stock ones wear out fast . Other than that is a nice car for the money . Enjoy.

Status: offline 		I have a sidewinder 4600kv combo by castle creations , I wouldnt go any bigger than that as the plastic pinions in the diffs cant handle anymore power ... Its plenty fast with my set up and It was gps with 3300 nimh batteries at just over 30 mph . I have some pictures posted a few posts back . I did run a 11.1 volt lipo through it and it was dam near uncontrollable . Hope this helps .

Status: online 		all the parts for the suspension is from ebay US. & the screws are from liquidrc.com
GMan01 most are yeah racing parts but the turnbuckle did need some triming
