I vote for Klotz Modelube mixed at 50:1. Reasonable price, burns clean, lubricates well, and most importantly.......has that racey smell!!!

If you want to mix a single fuel for all engines to use, you need to meet requirements of the most demanding engine. So 91 PON premium gas, and Mobil 1 2T or equivalent oil. like Motul 800, Redline racing 2T, Belray HR1, Putoline RS949, Castrol 747 etc.
If your most demanding engine is a standard zenoah, regular 89 PON gas and Lawnboy ashless will do. In Europe, most scooter oils are of excellent quality.

Go with Pe's suggestions. He covered all the bases with the right answers. 40-1 will do with any on the oils mentioned, but reading and following the directions on the oil can is also always a good place to start. Premium gas covers all the engines and won't hurt the ones that don't require it.

I heard Amsoil is coming out with a new 1000:1 oil. It's supposed to protect your engine better than those cheap 32:1 oils and you won't get any sludge on your plane.

I have the new zero stroke engine in my plane, that was just develloped to take advantage of the new 1:1000 oil.
No vibrations, no plane staining at all, unlimited verticals right up to heaven.

Yeah probably one long vertical and it will be up in heaven to stay.

I agree with T.O.M., PE pretty much answered it. That's why I started my comedy act.....I know it's pretty weak.

Amsoil oil run at 100 to 1 or 50 to 1. I have run it for many years both ways without any problems.

Damn....popcorn is gone, so I either have to make more, or go ahead and post....

I opted to go with a very good quality, very inexpensive, and readily available oil, and mix it on what I would consider to be the well educated side of things... Pennzoil 2 stroke for Air Cooled Engines, 40:1.... My Zenoahs and misc lawn equipment have no problem running the higher octane that my ZDZ's and 3W's enjoy. They all get the same drink.

There are a handful of other oils I would trust equally, and have been mentioned here. This is the one I've chosen, and haven't had a reason to look back.

It will not be long at all before 2 cycle oil will have to be environment friendly here in Ca. You can read that as banned in Ca. Because what mfrg will risk lawsuits from environment nazi's. And as Ca. goes the rest soon follow.
So we better hope some mfgr's can come up with some type of lube for our engines that allows us to continue our hobby. More than likely it will be a Synthetic with a mix ratio of 100 to 1 or more.
The laws have already been passed. In 2010 the law becomes effective. All outdoor power equipment from the smallest yard care power tools to massive Construction equipment will need to have engines certified to have the latest polution control devices. Should be interesting to say the least how we manage to go through this new set of government requirements.

IF you have an engine that requires Preminum then follow Pe's advice. If you engines will run on reg then mix up some Penz @ 40:1. With what passes for gas these days just mix 1 gal at a time and keep the freshest gas you can.
