I'm guessing this is a discontinuing model or heli cause I've been looking for metal tail and main shaft upgrades for this and it's damn near impossible. Does anybody know where I can get upgrades or a similar heli that I can use parts off of? I hear the walkera 36 is the same is this true if so where can I get parts from? OH! by the way I have the 1st version I guess Fm radio and NON brushless with the NI MH battery if this makes a difference.

upgrade are currently sold out at our online dealer for now at www.xheli.com

if you have the first version your radio is a little different if you use brushless system. what exactly do you want to do?

the exceed g2 is the same as the walkera H36 so parts and upgrade parts are interchangeable.

I know what you are talking about. You have an eariler version of the H36 which walkera doesn't make anymore. To fix the heli you have now would cost you more than getting a new unit. Somehow your receiver is not working right I think.

Try this:
Change the switches on back of the radio back to default setting as mentioned on the manual. Discharge the battery completely by using it, squeeze the last drop of juice from the battery and then charge it for 6 hours. See if that helps.

Hello,

For anyone with similar problems, the following may be helpful

Go to http://www.helipal.com and or, http://www.rcmods.co.uk/

The Walkra Dragonfly 36 is identical to the Exceed G2, and the 36#B is the CNC version
Parts from both the 68#B and the Creata 400 will fit. However, you will probably need to use the standard HM-36-1-Z-30 Main Shaft, and HM-36-1-Z-06 Ball Linkage Set
The tail boom for the CNC tail box the longer than that for the standard plastic tail box.

The 36#B CNC head may look good but it’s prone to slop, and the radial bearings in the main rotor blade holders don’t last long. The pitch clamp on the blade holder may slip.
The Creata 400 main rotor head components are more advanced with radial bearings fitted to control arms.

The standard Walkera DF36 plastic head has larger radial bearings in the blade holders, and is more cost effective while getting to grips with a Walkera 400 class helicopter.
For help setting copy this into your search engine: - Setting up a WALKERA 36 fresh out of the box.
This gives a good visual guide, however, it has the brushed motor.

I use this set-up Brushless Esky 3100kv with a Esky 25Amp ESC and 1300mAh LiPO
13t drive pinion
In Normal flight mode
Throttle 0% pitch angle -1degree
Throttle 50% pitch angle + 4.5degree
Throttle 100% pitch angle + 9 degree

For LiPOs 5C Loong max Tipple 1300 3S1P 25-35C Lipo Battery £13.03 go to: -
http://www.giantcod.co.uk/

http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_index.asp
Also, have a look at the HK 450 bare bones heli kits for USD $9.99

I have a HK 450 with plastic rotor head & tail box, great basic machine.
Their Radio sets good price too.

Regards cloudrider.
