AEF 2009 is now over and what a success it was! Bob & crew did an outstanding job as usual.

Hi Jim,

 I am sure that we can work out a special junior registration fee. How about $10.00 for three days? He will also be eligable for the daily pilot prize drawings. Does that sound fair?

 Are you guys camping at FEAR this year?

 Thats a generous offer Jerry,  but alas we will only have 2 generations, not the full 3.

Richie's school schedule is not being compliant with my RC flying needs~!

Whoooooooo.....eeeeeeeeee! This last Thursday, the runway at the ARCS Mustang Field was widened 12 1/2', lengthened 30' and resurfaced along with the staging area just in front of the ramada/pit area. It is really smooooooooo...oooooth! This coming week the new safety fence will be installed and the stripes on the runway and pit will be repainted along with the kitchen area and impound. It will be like having a new field!

Make plans now to attend FEAR 2009 and try out the new runway!

The stripes on the runway, safety cages and pit areas will be painted this weekend, then the runway project will be completed. It has been an expensive project, but worthwhile!

Hi Ed,

Here is a map & directions from the ARCS' website. http://www.arcs1.com/club/mustangfield.html If you are coming from NM, follow I-10 through Phoenix to the loop 303. Take it north until you come to Greenway Road. Head west until Greenway ends and go through the gate to the ARCS's Mustang Field.

Nothing is set, yet. We are working with a couple of clubs that are interested in hosting FEAR 2010. As soo as the details ar worked ojut, I will post the dates and other info.
